Casa del Puerto Hotel
There’s something special about staying at a boutique hotel in a small town like Puerto Morelos, isn’t it? At Casa del Puerto Hotel you’re guaranteed to feel right at home—even if your actual home doesn’t have an amazing view of the sea. It might be a little hard to leave, though.
Where is Casa del Puerto Hotel?
Puerto Morelos is small and secluded enough as it is but, if that’s not enough for you, Casa del Puerto Hotel is a few miles north of the town, making it even more secluded. True, not much is considered to be far away in Puerto Morelos, so it would be an exaggeration to say that about where the hotel is located, but you’ll definitely need a vehicle to get to the town.
This, however, doesn’t mean it’s far away from everything. Croco Cun Zoo, with its population of alligators, is only a few minutes away. The case is the same with bigger hotel complexes, like Dreams Natura, Royalton Riviera, or the Hilton.
Additionally, the Snorkel Native Park, where you can book snorkel and diving tours around Puerto Morelos, Cancun, and other places around the Yucatan Peninsula, is right around the corner.
What’s the Casa del Puerto Hotel like?
What can be more relaxing than laying back on a deck chair, drink in hand, staring at, not one, but two bodies of water—the pool and the ocean—one in front of the other? That pretty much describes the experience at the hotel.
Decorated mostly in wood and white paint, this place almost feels like a spa. Such a décor extends to the 14 spacious rooms, all of which have a private balcony and deck chair.
Of course, there’s also a bar and restaurant, as well as a roof terrace from where to get yet another view of the ocean.
Does Casa del Puerto Hotel have a beach?
Oh, boy, and what a beach! It’s made up of white sand and turquoise waters; you know, the local custom. But this is only a fraction of Puerto Morelos’ long stretch of beach, on which visitors can take long walks and visit the neighboring beaches. After that, there is nothing like going back to your room and experiencing the sunset from your own private balcony.
