The Chan Chochola Hacienda
The Chan Chochola hacienda has some of the most beautiful architecture in the state of Yucatan. Of European style, its towers are of Spanish origin and with a tile roof, typical of the time. It has its origins in colonial times, and was mainly used to raise cattle and cavalry. It is said that Santa Eduviges Hacienda produced the best specimens in the state. The history of this hacienda dates back to colonial times when it was used for cattle raising and the breeding of Spanish horses, it was said that at that time, the best horses came from there. This place is ideal to visit with family and friends, to enjoy a tour full of magnificent landscapes.

Santa Eduviges was a woman born in Germany and married at the age of twelve to Henry I, the Duke of Poland, who dedicated her life and all her fortune to help the poor and the neediest people, after the death of her husband. She is the patron saint of queens and of Federal Europe.

Located in the town of Chan Chocholá, in the municipality of Maxcanú. The town of Chan Chocholá (Santa Eduviges Chan Chocholá) is located 7.7 kilometers from Maxcanú, which is the most populated town in the municipality, in a northwest direction.
