The Museum of Maya Culture in Chetumal offers guided tours at various times; the full tour with a guide takes around an hour and a half to two hours. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The hotel zone surrounds the complex, and along it you can reach the Bay of Chetumal as well as several government buildings. All of this may be seen on foot. There are constant route buses and rotating cabs, and transportation is comfortable and plentiful.
