B Unique Cozumel is Unique Indeed

B Unique is not called that just because it’s a cute name; it really is unique among the many hotels along Cozumel’s coastline. Located about as close as you can get to the airport, it’s a great place to balance rest and visits to the nearby town of Cozumel. It also has as some of the aquatic activities the island is well-known for.

Where is B Unique Cozumel?

You could jump from your plane and parachute into one of B Unique’s pool-side deck chairs—that’s how close it is to the airport. Sadly, at least until that becomes a standard airline service, visitors still have to wait for the plane to land.

B Unique is to the north of the island, on the Rafael E. Melgar Avenue that runs along the entirety of Cozumel’s western coastline, passing in front of its most famous hotels and tourist attractions.

Though it is not in the town of Cozumel itself—which gives it some privacy—, a couple of minutes’ drive will leave you in the middle of downtown, ready to see the sights and visit a local restaurant or two.

Honoring its name, B Unique’s restaurant—called Xul-Ha—has very original versions of the most traditional local dishes, as it gives them an Asian flair. Here you can get things like shrimp sushi dressed in an achiote sauce.

But you don’t need to look elsewhere if you’re craving non-experimental, comfort food, as this place is also perfectly capable of serving you a ceviche or a turkey sandwich.

A place for rest and adventure in equal measure

Though it has no sandy beach (there is a rocky access to the ocean), relaxation at B Unique, with its many terraces, sky lounge, and massages is almost unavoidable.
